Icon features an extremely detailed and beautifully colored
image of the Holy Mother of God holding the Christ Child, and the
Lord Jesus holding the Holy Scriptures, (Or "Pantocrator/Teacher"
Icon as it is known.) The gospels are written in Old Slavonic text
and read, "...Come ye blessed of My Father, inherit the
kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."
Matthew 25:24. This beautiful Icon is made of wood and measures
6" x 7 1/2" (when unfolded), and 6" x 3
3/4"(folded). There are brilliant gold and silver metallic
highlights throughout the image, including a lovely gold Orthodox
Cross on the front of the Icon! An especially pretty Icon of Mary
& Christ--A lovely desktop size Icon for display in the

of Myra in the IV century. He is one of the most popular
Saints in the world. People of various occupations claim him
as patron. He saved sailors from a terrible storm, helped
